Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in leading our nursing department. The ADON plays a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and promoting clinical excellence within our facility.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing and managing daily nursing operations
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Promote and maintain the highest standards of resident-centered care
Support infection control oversight and regulatory readiness
Plan, organize, and conduct staff training programs and clinical in-services
Maintain effective communication across all levels of nursing staff
Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet resident care needs
Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
Oversee staff competency evaluations and implement corrective action plans when necessary
Qualifications
Required:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
Preferred:
Five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience in a clinical setting
Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a long-term care or sub-acute setting
PCC certification
